The Vision

Sports are all around us. They bring people together causing us to cheer with excitement when our favorite team wins or cry when they lose. For some though, it's more than just excitement - it's a real opportunity for growth and to excel at something tangible. For others, it's a chance at finding direction and purpose which leads to a more rewarding and successful life.

However, what if that opportunity isn't there? What if there is no means to improve and excel, no outlet for talent? What if hope is lost for lack of direction, training, encouragement and finances?

The vision for REACT came alive in 2013. At that time, the ground work began. The concept and vision was simple, "All student athletes should be afforded the same opportunities to succeed no matter their social or economic status". Welcome to REACT, where we accomplish Results through Action.

The Board of Directors for REACT is leadership at its best - a multi-cultural and diverse group of individuals from all walks of life coming together for one common goal:

  • Reclaim
  • Effect
  • Achieve
  • Cultivate
  • and Train

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide at-risk and underprivileged student athletes FREE sports related training, mentoring, coaching, counseling, social programs, life skills classes, camps and clinics- all in a safe and effective environment.

As an organization we provide student athletes with sports training needed to help increase performance and harvest raw talent. Such training as:

  • Sport specific training
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Speed & Agility

Beyond the realm of sports we provide a staff of counselors, mentors and coaches for developing structure and maturity; along with life skills and social programming needed to promote education, personal growth and awareness.

Target Outreach

REACT is open to any student athlete entering their 7th grade year of school until the completion of their high school education. Those athletes who have been part of the REACT program previous to their high school graduation and are entering college to play sports will be allowed to continue participating throughout the conclusion of their college athletics.

We are also big supporters of the proud men and women in our U.S. military and have partnered with the different branches to provide training for those who are about to embark on this new journey. These young men and women are those who have enlisted in the delayed entry program and are scheduled to enter basic training and serve our country.
